I’m Alan Bryden — an optometrist, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner who’s spent nearly two decades helping people improve their vision and protect their health. But like many of us, my journey took a turn when I discovered Bitcoin.
🔦 The Spark
After years of witnessing the slow deterioration of public health — from digital overload to poor sleep and screen-induced fatigue — I began to connect the dots. I realised that light was a missing piece of the wellness puzzle. Artificial light exposure was harming our circadian rhythms, sleep cycles, and ultimately, our health.
As I went deeper into Bitcoin — and the truth behind our broken systems — I knew the same clarity needed to be brought to vision. Bitcoin opened my eyes to the importance of decentralisation, sovereignty, and reclaiming control — not just over money, but over mind, body, and health.
